I did not actually get a handbag for Christmas, although I did receive a couple of very trendy scarves. And remember, scarves are the new handbags now.  I did not get any toys at all, but I guess everyone thinks I am too mature for such frippery.  I will let you into a secret: I am not – I was trying to sneak a game with the kids’ presents all day long!

So it finally happened – I have enough cash to get a genuine designer handbag of my own, but I cannot stop myself looking for something at discount. So the obvious place to go is the website where there is always a sale, like buy.com. It is a good habit to check with them vefore buying anything at all – you should always save cash this way – for the next handbag, maybe.

I have a certain loyalty to Radley bags, as this is a British make and I own a Radley Handbag myself. The dog mascots on the bags and purses are very popular with fans of the brand. They offer some pastel leather designs that are a bit ‘fluffy’ for my taste, and maybe they do not grab other buyers, either. A small stock of last season bags is currently being sold at a huge discount in my local branch of TK Maxx, which detracts from the image of a high end marque somewhat. Read more »

Today I was told that I could choose my favourite designer bag for my Christmas present – really, my fiance says he will buy me the best designer handbag that I want as a wedding present! What would you choose if money were no object? The Jimmy Choo Maddy bag in red has long been one of my favourites, also the Mulberry Mabel and the Chloe Paddington Handbag are on my wish list. I am surprised how hard it is to narrow down the list when you can actually get the designer bag that you want.  I will make sure my car insurance covers my possessions, just in case!
