Anyway, where was I? I started to tell you about my afternoon in Worthing. I got my nails done at my favourite Worthing Nail bar, Exquisite Nails in West Buildings. The technician reminded me that I had left it way too long for my infills, and it was no excuse to say that I had been decorating. Your nails still need to be trimmed and filled regardless. After my nails were infilled, I took a happy walk to the shops - mainly TK Maxx. They have been boasting that they carried Designer Bags but I was way disappointed with the selection at TK Maxx and I did not spend anything. I had heard that TK Maxx are selling Radley bags at discount but on the day I was there, no Radly bags were on sale. So I saved my cash: I did not even get a cake.  Lack of cash is the best diet pill I know.

I am starting to feel like I have done something wrong if I ask for a bag when I go shopping. Where will it stop, now that supermarkets are hiding their carrier bags forcing you to ask for one, like a reformed addict taking a backward step into their habit. Last week I went to TK Maxx and they are now charging for bags, to deter customers from using carriers. A French court has ordered eBay to pay 40m euros ($63m) in damages to the owners of luxury designer handbag brands Louis Vuitton, Dior and Givenchy, for allowing online auctions of fake copies of its goods. The brand owning company, LVMH, took the action because it said eBay’s French site had not done enough to stop the sale of counterfeit designer bags and perfumes.

An eBay statement said LVMH was trying to “protect uncompetitive commercial practices at the expense of consumer choice” and added that it would appeal. Read more »
