How to pack for a romantic mini break

My fiance is an impatient creature and for online buying he treats me as his PA. That is a man thing, I guess. he decided he needed a new overnight bag and wanted the best deal on a designer label. Well, who better to ask than someone like me, who lives and dreams about bags of all descriptions? Luckily for him I know a place where there is always something great in the sale. When he started to see the kind of deals on offer, of course he wanted to check everything out and decided he wanted a laptop bag as well. Hold on, I said - we should order the overnight bag first. But Babe, he said, “I can get a nice new laptop case with space for a few overnight things”. Men are so lucky, they really can travel light. Me, I need a huge bag even for a short stay: by the time I have included a choice of outfits and accessories for each day, plus makeup, hair dryer, and my own laptop of course, I need a small suitcase. Maybe that is why I don’t go away very much. When we started looking I saw some well designed little bags on wheels that look as if they could cope with my array of possessions and still look good so perhaps he will take me for a romantic mini break soon.
