Jimmy Choo Riki Bag in Black Patent Leather

The signature Riki bag by Jimmy Choo must be close to his heart. For this season the Riki has been relaunched in crushed black patent leather. The soft shape and iconic hardware makes this the perfect day bag, slightly smaller than the Ramona. At the Jimmy Choo online shop I could only find it in black, but net-a-porter have the Merlot patent leather version. Both colours have gathered detailing and silver hardware. The Jimmy Choo Riki has a front fastening flap with signature gold coloured Jimmy Choo Clasp, two grab handles, buckle detailing and a small side pouch. Inside there is a small zipped pocket and a rich suede lining in tan and lilac.

Width 36cm; Height 25cm; Depth 14cm; Handle Drop 19cm. Out of the two colours I still prefer the Riki in black: shown here on a shot of the bag lining. It certainly matches better with the tan and lilac suede lining, in my opinion. The retail price of the Riki is £975 at Jimmy Choo.com, compared to many of the top designer bags at this level you will not need a blood pressure monitor.
