I learned something today that could just help me in the future – I now know what CD rates are. I also now know that I am classified as a lazy investor, but that is not actually a big surprise to me.  That means I am the type who cannot be bothered ploughing through the newspapers on Sunday to find out about Certificate of Deposit Rates, even though they affect the return I receive on my savings.

I am pleased to find that there are websites created to help people like me – does that mean they had fashion addicted handbag bloggers in mind when they set out to create this mine of information?  No, I guess I am just like ninety five per cent of the population – I’d rather pursue my interests than have to learn all about bank rates just so that I can manage my cash. So, rather than beat myself up about my lazy girlie handbag obsession, I can check out the best CD rates in the blink of an eye before returning to my more interesting world of designer handbags.
