With wider choice we now use our televisions in a completely different way, and the choices over services are many. Thanks to services like Direct TV we are no longer restricted to turning on and simply watch the four or five standard terrestrial channels. If you live in an area with poor reception over the land based aerial, as we do, these satellite based services give better reception.
The Directv service offers viewers up to 200 of the most popular channels, such as top rated films, sport, music, history and of course children’s channels. For me one of the best elements of my viewing package is the radio content. That may sound odd, but the only way we can hear radio programmes with crystal clear reception is via the TV.
